Event & Ticket FAQs

New here? We've got you! Whether you're looking to make new friends, attend your first book club, or shop at one of our book fairs, we're here to answer your questions.

Where can I find your upcoming events?

You can browse all of our upcoming book clubs, book fairs, and special events through our website.

Be sure to check the location, date, time, and event details before registering.

How much does it cost to attend?

It depends on the event!

Many of our community events and book fairs offer free admission, while others require a paid ticket to cover activities, materials, venue expenses, or special experiences.

All ticket prices and inclusions are listed on each event page.

Are your events free?

Some are!

We offer a mix of free and paid experiences. For events with multiple ticket options, be sure to read what's included with each ticket before registering.

Do I need to RSVP for a free event?

If an event offers free registration, we strongly encourage you to RSVP!

It helps our team prepare for attendance and share important event updates.

Some events may also require a free ticket for entry or have limited capacity, so always review the registration details.

Where do I park?

Parking varies depending on the venue.

We recommend checking your event listing and any emails sent before the event for specific parking instructions.

Whenever possible, we share helpful details about parking, entrances, and other important arrival information before the event.

What should I bring to an event?

That depends on what you're attending!

For book clubs, you may want to bring your current read, but it's not always required. For special events, there may be specific items or materials you need to bring.

Check your event description and pre-event emails for more information.

What should I wear to an event?

Come as you are!

We love a themed outfit, but we also want everyone to feel comfortable.

Some of our events feature themes like fantasy, cowgirl, Halloween, or other special occasions, and dressing up is always encouraged when applicable!

Any specific dress requirements will be listed in the event details.

Are your events women-only or co-ed?

It depends on the event!

Our regular Vibrant Book Club gatherings are women-only, but many of our book fairs, markets, and other experiences are open to everyone.

Each event listing will specify whether it's women-only or open to all attendees.

Are your events 21+?

Not all of them!

Age requirements vary depending on the venue and event type. Some events are 21+, others are 18+, and certain events may welcome attendees of all ages.

Always review the age requirements on the event page before purchasing tickets or registering.

Can I bring my kids?

It depends on the event.

Some of our book fairs and shopping events may be family-friendly, while our women's social gatherings and certain venue-based events have age restrictions.

Please check the specific event description to see whether children are permitted.

Can I bring a friend?

Absolutely!

We love when attendees bring their friends, but we also encourage coming solo if you're hoping to meet new people.

If the event requires registration or tickets, each attendee should have their own ticket unless the event listing says otherwise.

Can I attend if I'm not from the area?

Of course!

You don't need to live in the city where we're hosting an event to attend.

Whether you're traveling, visiting friends, or just looking for a fun experience in a neighboring city, we'd love to have you!

Can I buy tickets at the door?

It depends on the event and availability.

Some events may allow same-day or door admission, while others require advance registration due to limited space, materials, or venue requirements.

We recommend reserving your spot ahead of time whenever possible.

What if an event sells out?

For events with limited capacity, tickets may sell out in advance.

If additional tickets become available, we'll share updates through our event page, email, or social media.

Can I get a refund if I can't attend?

All event ticket purchases are final and non-refundable.

We recommend reviewing all event details, including the date, time, location, and ticket inclusions, before completing your purchase.

If an event is canceled or significantly changed by our team, we'll communicate applicable options directly to ticket holders.

What happens if an event is canceled or rescheduled?

Sometimes plans change!

If an event needs to be canceled, postponed, or moved to a new location, we'll notify registered attendees using the contact information provided at checkout.

We'll also share any important next steps or available options.

Will there be food and drinks available?

It depends on the venue and event!

Some events take place at restaurants, breweries, or locations with food and drinks available for purchase. Others may feature food trucks, specialty beverage vendors, or complimentary refreshments.

Check the event details to see what's available and what's included with your ticket.

Can I shop at your events without participating in the activities?

It depends on the event!

Most of our events are either ticketed or free to attend. Some events offer free admission to shop with vendors, while others require a ticket for entry, regardless of whether you participate in the activities.

We recommend checking the individual event listing for admission details, ticket options, and what's included before attending.

Are your events accessible?

Accessibility features vary by venue.

If you have specific accessibility needs or questions about a location, please contact us before attending so we can share available information and help you plan your visit.

Who do I contact if I have questions about an event?

We're happy to help!

For event-specific questions, we recommend reaching out to your local city host. You can find information about our hosts on our About Us page.

For general questions or if you're unsure who to contact, feel free to email us at hello@vbrntt.com, and we'll make sure to point you in the right direction!

Book Club FAQs

Can I come alone?

YES! In fact, we encourage it!

One of the biggest reasons we started The Vibrant Book Club was to make meeting new friends a little less intimidating.

Many of our attendees come to their first event without knowing anyone. Our gatherings are designed to encourage conversation and connection, so you won't be the only one looking to make new friends.

Come solo, bring a friend, or bring your whole girl gang. There's a place for you here!

What if I'm shy or introverted?

You're exactly the kind of person we created this space for!

We know putting yourself out there can feel intimidating, especially when you're showing up somewhere new.

Our hosts help facilitate conversations and activities so you don't have to worry about breaking the ice all by yourself.

There's no pressure to be the loudest person in the room. Just come as you are!

Do I have to read a specific book before attending?

Nope! We're an open-format book club, meaning there's no assigned reading or required book to finish before attending.

You can bring whatever you're currently reading, talk about your favorite books, or simply come to make friends.

Occasionally, we also host special events centered around a specific book, which will always be noted in the event description.

Why do you do open-format book clubs?

Because reading should be fun, not another item on your to-do list!

We believe books are a great way to bring people together, but we also know everyone has different reading tastes, schedules, and preferences.

Our open-format approach removes the pressure of keeping up with an assigned book and allows us to focus on what matters most: building genuine friendships and community.

What happens at a typical book club?

Every gathering is a little different!

Depending on the event, you might enjoy a craft, a fun activity, bookish conversations, games, or simply time to socialize with other readers.

Our hosts create opportunities for everyone to interact, so whether you're attending for the first time or the tenth, there's always something fun to look forward to.

Do I need to bring a book?

Not necessarily!

Some events include dedicated reading time or book-related activities, while others are more focused on crafts and socializing.

We recommend checking the event description to see if there's anything specific you should bring.

What kind of books do people read?

All kinds!

Our community includes readers who love romance, fantasy, thrillers, mysteries, contemporary fiction, literary fiction, and everything in between.

You don't need to read a certain genre or number of books to fit in.

Do I have to be a big reader to join?

Absolutely not!

Whether you read 100 books a year, are getting back into reading, or just love the idea of making friends through a shared hobby, you're welcome here.

You don't need to prove you're a bookworm to belong.

Is The Vibrant Book Club only for women?

Yes! Our regular Vibrant Book Club gatherings are designed specifically for women.

Our mission is to create welcoming spaces where women can build meaningful friendships, find community, and connect over shared interests.

However, not every event hosted by VBRNTT is women-only! Some of our book fairs, shopping events, and other experiences are open to everyone.

Each event listing will clearly specify who can attend.

What is the age range for your book clubs?

We welcome adult women of different ages and stages of life!

Our attendees come from a variety of backgrounds, and there's no specific age you need to be to make meaningful friendships.

Some gatherings are 21+ due to venue restrictions, while others are 18+. Be sure to check the age requirements listed on each event page.

What should I wear to book club?

Whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident!

Some attendees love dressing up for a girls' night, while others prefer jeans, leggings, and a cozy sweater.

For themed events, costumes or themed outfits are always fun, but they're generally optional unless otherwise stated.

There's no need to buy a new outfit just to attend!
